Important: We cannot guarantee a colour match. Hex codes, paint brand references, and on-screen colours are provided as a starting point only — not as a promise of an exact match. The final printed colour on your mat will differ from what you see on screen and from any paint, fabric, or other material you're trying to coordinate with. This is due to:

• Different materials — ink printed onto white polyester fabric will always look different to paint on a wall, dye in fabric, or glaze on a tile. These are fundamentally different surfaces and colour matching between them isn't possible.
• Printing process — colours are printed onto a white base material, so the final result will appear lighter than the colour you select. Choose a richer, more saturated shade than your intended final hue.
• Screen variation — every monitor, phone, and tablet displays colour differently. What you see on your screen is only a rough guide.
• Lighting conditions — the same mat will look different in daylight, under warm bulbs, or in a dimly lit hallway.

A note on plain mats: We recommend choosing a patterned design where possible. Plain mats show dirt much more readily than patterned ones, particularly in lighter colours. If you'd prefer a plain mat, go darker than you think you need.

We'll send you a digital mock-up for approval before printing, but please be aware that the mock-up is also viewed on screen and is therefore subject to the same screen-to-print variation.

A note on greys: Grey is particularly difficult to print accurately. Even pure greys can appear to have a green or blue tinge under certain lighting. If you're set on grey, please use one of our recommended hex codes below and choose a shade darker than you want — and be aware that some colour cast is unavoidable.
